Watford interested in QPR defender Clarke-Salter

Watford are interested in QPR defender Jake Clarke-Salter.

The centre-back, who turns 29 next month, has been plagued by injuries since being signed four years ago after leaving Chelsea.

He has played in both of Rangers’ opening two matches of the Championship season and hopes to put his injury problems behind him.

And Watford have indicated that Clarke-Salter is among defenders on their radar in the final days of the transfer window.
