QPR hopeful Cameron will return for Huddersfield game

Mark Warburton says he is hopeful Geoff Cameron will return to the QPR’s squad for Saturday’s game against Huddersfield.

The 35-year-old picked up an injury during the recent win over Rotherham and has missed the defeats against Brentford and Bristol City.

But Cameron was due to train on Thursday morning and is expected to be available this weekend.

“Geoff will be training and I’m hopeful he’ll be available for selection,” said Rangers boss Warburton.

“It was a muscle injury and fatigue related. Players at all levels are being affected by the demands placed upon them.”
