Hemed back in QPR squad for cup replay

Tomer Hemed is in QPR’s squad for Tuesday night’s FA Cup game against Portsmouth.

The on-loan Brighton striker recently returned to training after a hernia operation and could be among Rangers’ substitutes for the fourth-round replay at Loftus Road.

Israel international Hemed, 31, has not played for the R’s since coming on as a second-half substitute during the 3-2 home defeat against Hull City at the start of December.

Rangers are also hopeful that Angel Rangel and Geoff Cameron will return to action this month.

Rangel has been recovering from a thigh injury and on-loan Stoke midfielder Cameron suffered ankle ligament damage against Leeds in December.
