Robins duo agree terms ahead of QPR move

QPR are set to complete the signings of Massimo Luongo and Ben Gladwin after agreeing personal terms with both players.

The Swindon Town midfielders, both 22, have agreed to join Rangers despite interest from a number of other clubs, including Aston Villa.

Rangers opened talks with the duo after having offers accepted by Swindon, who were recently beaten by Preston in the League One play-off final.

Australia international Luongo joined the Robins in 2013 from Tottenham, where he worked with QPR director of football Les Ferdinand and head coach Chris Ramsey, who were then at White Hart Lane.

Gladwin has impressed since he was signed by the Robins from non-League Marlow two years ago. He previously had a spell at Hayes & Yeading.

  • some decent central defenders would be nice.

sorry not heard of the Swindon duo.

QPR need some good youngsters and a fine goal scorer.

Charlie Austin will go and he needs and deserves a new challenge with a big club.

Ricky Lambert will be a great signing up front.

lets hope Ramsey and Co. can build a new competitive team, GVS.
