Redknapp reluctant to discuss QPR future

Harry Redknapp has insisted he has not thought about whether he will stay at QPR if the club are relegated.

Bottom-of-the-table Rangers are seven points adrift of 17th place ahead of this weekend’s game against Manchester United.

And there is sure to be speculation about manager Redknapp’s future if they drop out of the top flight.

But he said: “I haven’t thought about going down. I only think about winning games and staying up.”

Redknapp added: “I’m not above managing a club in the Championship. I don’t think like that.

“If QPR go down it’s up to the chairman and the board to decide what they want to do with the club.

“I just think we can stay up. I still think it’s possible. There’s 12 games to go and lots of points to play for. It’s still there to be done.”

Meanwhile, Redknapp is hopeful Loic Remy will feature against Manchester United.
