Redknapp: QPR flops are unlikely to leave

Harry Redknapp says QPR will struggle to offload their under-performing players after the club’s likely relegation from the Premier League.

There has been speculation that Rangers’ drop to the Championship could lead to a player exodus from Loftus Road.

But while striker Loic Remy and a number of others are expected to move on, the bulk of Rangers’ highly-paid squad are unlikely to receive better financial terms elsewhere.

Manager Redknapp said: “They won’t go. How are you going to get rid of them? That’s your biggest problem.

“They all have contracts. How are they going to go? Who is going to pay them what they are earning here? It is going to be very hard to shift them.”
