QPR’s Sandro will be out for at least a month

QPR midfielder Sandro will be out for at least a month with his latest knee problem.

The Brazilian went off during the second half of Rangers’ 1-0 defeat at Newcastle on Saturday and scans have shown he suffered medial ligament damage.

Rangers say it is unrelated to a cruciate ligament injury Sandro suffered at Tottenham, who sold him in the summer.

Since his arrival at Loftus Road he has been troubled by knee and groin problems.
