QPR’s Hill sidelined by knee injury

QPR defender Clint Hill has been ruled out for two to four weeks with the knee injury sustained in the defeat at Brentford on Friday.

The 37-year-old came off in the 74th minute at Griffin Park and scans have shown cartilage damage in his left knee.

It means Hill will definitely miss the trip to Derby on Tuesday and this weekend’s visit of Preston, and may also be out for games against Middlesbrough and Leeds after the international break.

Meanwhile, Rangers midfielder Sandro is also likely to sit out the game with Derby with an ankle injury picked up in training this week.

Oscar Gobern, currently on loan at Doncaster, will return to QPR for treatment after suffering a knee ligament injury in training last week.
