QPR’s Dembele returns to action after long injury lay-off

QPR winger Karamoko Dembele has returned to action following a long-term knee injury.

Dembele, 23, suffered anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) damage during a match against Coventry City in January.

He played – and scored with a first-half penalty – for Rangers’ development side in a match against Bristol City on Sunday afternoon.

West London Sport revealed ahead of the game that Dembele would be involved.

The game was played at QPR’s training ground in Heston and the hosts won 3-1. Youngsters Amar Sanghrajka and Fraser Neill scored their other goals.
