QPR defender Steven Caulker could join Lokomotiv Moscow on loan.
Rangers are in talks with the Russian club and are keen for Caulker to make the move.
Any deal would not have to be completed by Tuesday’s deadline for English clubs because the Russian transfer window remains open.
Caulker, 25, joined QPR from Cardiff in the summer of 2014. He has not played since October.
