QPR youngster Shodipo signs new contract

Olamide Shodipo has signed a new two-and-a-half-year contract at QPR.

It means the 19-year-old winger, who broke into Rangers’ first team this season, is now under contract at Loftus Road until the summer of 2019.[phone][/phone]

He made his senior debut against Leeds on the opening day of the campaign and has made 11 appearances this season, nine of them in the league.

“It’s been a crazy few months for me, and to get this contract feels like a reward,” Shodipo told QPR’s website.

“I have worked hard but I’ve got to make sure I keep that going.”
