QPR youngster bemoans ‘frustrating’ loan spell

Aramide Oteh has admitted to the Express and Star he has endured a “frustrating” loan spell at Walsall.

The striker, 20, has made just three starts since joining the relegation-threatened Saddlers on loan from QPR in January.

“It has been frustrating, I won’t lie. When you are a footballer you want to play,” he said.

“But when the results don’t go well and you still don’t play, it’s even more frustrating.

“You just have to keep positive because a chance could come at any point.”

Oteh scored his first goal for Walsall in their 1-1 draw with Southend on Friday.

“Now I have got my first goal it’s a weight off my shoulders,” he said.

“Hopefully I can now get a few more in the remaining games because that point against Southend, it could be a crucial point. We don’t know where it can take us.”

  • I will never understand the logic in sending him out on loan, especially when considering our goal scoring record to date off the one/s who stayed. Couldnt have done worse.
