QPR stalwart Hill hits out at Bosingwa

QPR stalwart Clint Hill has told Jose Bosingwa he should go elsewhere if he cannot be counted on in the club’s battle to avoid the drop.

Bosingwa apologised after being fined for refusing to be a substitute in the recent derby victory against Fulham – bottom side Rangers’ only league win this season.

But manager Harry Redknapp still wants to get rid of the former Chelsea defender in January and most of his team-mates will not be sorry if Bosingwa moves on.

“January is around the corner – if you don’t fancy it, then off you pop,” said Hill.

“If we’re not united we won’t get out of it, simple as that. It’s up to the gaffer to find out who is up for the fight and who isn’t, and I’m sure he will.

“If you don’t want to go on the bench, then do you want to be here? Do you want to fight? Do you want to scrap with your team-mates? That hurts as a group, definitely.

“We’ve all been on the bench, dropped and told we can go. But we all earn good money, and if you can’t sit on the bench there must be something wrong.

“It can be hard to see and work with players who won’t fight, because you want to be in it together, and you want to be with people who will be next to you fighting for the cause.

“If you can’t sit on the bench and support the lads, then why are you here?
