QPR midfielder set for operation

QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin is expected to undergo an operation later this week.

Faurlin suffered cruciate damage in the recent FA Cup match at MK Dons – an injury that is likely to keep him out for the rest of the campaign.

The Argentine had won praise for his performances in the Premier League this season and a number of clubs were said to have been showing an interest in signing him.
