QPR’s Hall ‘being patient’ after injury

Mark Warburton says Grant Hall has had to be patient during his spell out of the QPR side.

Hall started the season as captain and is available again following injury.

Manager Warburton has opted to stick with Toni Leistner and Yoann Barbet at the back, although Rangers’ defensive shortcomings were evident again in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw with Reading.

“I like to think I’m fair and consistent with all the players,” Warburton said.

“Grant has been a model professional. He played every minute for me up until his injury.

“Then, like any player – Toni had to be patient early on – Grant is being patient.

“Lee Wallace is being patient too because Ryan Manning is playing well. Dom Ball is being patient. It’s about the squad.

“Whether it’s your captain, a 35-year-old or an 18-year-old, you’ve got to be fair and consistent and I hope very much we can be that way.”
