Clint Hill believes troubled QPR can take heart from the upturn in Tottenham’s fortunes under Andre Villas-Boas.
Rangers are bottom of the table and without a league win this season, prompting speculation that Harry Redknapp could replace Mark Hughes as manager at Loftus Road.
Meanwhile, Villas-Boas – Redknapp’s replacement as Spurs boss – has strengthened his position in recent weeks having initially been tipped to struggle.
And R’s defender Hill said: “If you have three or four bad results people from outside the club start writing things and pointing fingers.
“Everybody on the inside is pulling in the same direction and trying to get the result we need.
“If you look at the Tottenham manager three or four weeks ago, everyone was saying he was a bad manager. All of a sudden he gets a few results and nothing is said.
“The gaffer’s confident he can turn things around – he wouldn’t be here if he wasn’t. He’s still got the full support of all the boys. We’re fully behind him and the staff.”

Clint recently stated he was to slow for the premiership and his legs where struggling to cope by sticking with Hughes the championship looks almost certain so he may an easier season next year.
