Mackie could be in QPR squad for Rotherham game

Jamie Mackie could be included in QPR’s squad for their match at Rotherham on Saturday.

Mackie trained fully on Monday and Tuesday and wants to be considered for the game against the Millers.

The 31-year-old has not featured this season, having suffered ankle ligament damage in July.

He sustained the injury in training while coming back from a long-term hamstring problem.

Mackie will be assessed on Friday before a decision is taken on whether to name him in the squad for the trip north.

He has been pencilled in for a return to action for QPR’s development side in a game against Watford on Monday but believes he is fit enough to be available this weekend.

Jack Robinson, who aggravated hamstring problem during Thursday’s home defeat against Wolves, has not taken part in training so far this week.
