QPR assessing another Robinson injury

QPR are assessing Jack Robinson after he appeared to aggravate a hamstring problem during the defeat against Wolves.

Rangers manager Ian Holloway initially expected Robinson to miss the match, but the left-back was selected after being passed fit.

Robinson, who has battled his way back from a long-term knee injury, missed the loss at Ipswich having been taken off after straining his hamstring during the win against Norwich the previous weekend.

And Holloway says Robinson struggled to complete Thursday’s 2-1 defeat at Loftus Road, where Rangers played most of the game with 10 men after James Perch was sent off.

Holloway said: “We should have brought Robbo off but that would have meant nine men. He got injured – again – in the last 10 minutes but he stayed on.”

It is thought that Robinson will be available for QPR’s next game, at Rotherham on 10 December.

Meanwhile, Holloway has explained his decision to take off Sandro against Wolves and has hit out at R’s fans for booing Karl Henry.
