Keeper Barnes joining Hibs on loan from QPR

Goalkeeper Dillon Barnes is joining Hibernian from QPR on a season-long loan.

Barnes, 24, moved to Rangers from Colchester United a year ago.

He has not made a first-team appearance since that surprise move and is currently behind Seny Dieng, Liam Kelly and Joe Lumley in the pecking order of QPR keepers.

Barnes recently had a trial at Swindon Town but is set for a move north of the border.

The deal is expected to be finalised in the next 24 hours.
