Injured QPR trio on course to return next month

QPR: Loftus Road

QPR have confirmed that they expect Geoff Cameron, Tomer Hemed and Angel Rangel to return to action next month.

On-loan Brighton striker Hemed recently had a hernia operation and has resumed light training with Rangers.

Rangel is recovery from a thigh problem, while Rangers have been waiting for an update on the extent of an ankle injury on-loan Stoke midfielder Cameron suffered against Leeds last month.

That update was encouraging and indicated that Cameron could soon also be able to train again.

“Angel, Tomer and Cameron are all progressing well in their rehabilitation,” club doctor Imtiaz Ahmad told QPR’s website.

“Angel and Cameron are continuing gym-based activity whilst Tomer has started on the pitch.

“We expect all three to return to action in February.”
