Striker Jay Bothroyd has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until January.
Bothroyd, who is not in QPR manager Mark Hughes’ plans, played under Owls boss Dave Jones at Cardiff.
The England international joined Rangers at the start of last season and has made 24 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice.
