QPR fail with bid to land West Ham’s Diame

QPR have had a bid for West Ham midfielder Mo Diame rejected.

West London Sport revealed on Thursday that Harry Redknapp, who tried to sign Diame last season, was planning another attempt to buy the Senegal international before the transfer window closes.

But the Rangers boss has been told that Diame, 26, is not for sale.

However, Redknapp looks likely to complete the loan signing of 21-year-old striker Will Keane from Manchester United before tonight’s 11pm deadline.

Keane, who recently had a spell on loan at Wigan, is due at Loftus Road this evening to finalise the deal.
