QPR facing continued delay over Warren Farm

QPR have confirmed they are still awaiting the outcome of Warren Farm objectors’ recent Supreme Court Appeal.

West London Sport revealed in April that another appeal was being lodged in response to a judicial review upholding Ealing Council’s original decision to grant planning permission for QPR to build a training ground on the site.

It is six and a half years since West London Sport first revealed that QPR would look to build training base at the site in Southall.

And it is more than three and a half years since West London Sport revealed Rangers had scaled down their plans for the site, having considered ditching the project altogether.

The latest appeal means the wait is likely to continue for some time.

Rangers chief executive Lee Hoos told the club website: “It is a frustrating time for the club, the fans, Ealing Council and the local community, who stand to benefit from the facilities we will be providing.

“We would expect to hear in the coming months whether our arguments against their Supreme Court submission have been successful.

“We will provide a further update as soon as we are in a position to do so.”

  • Time for QPR to submit a claim against these protesters for costs incurred by the club over the protesters continued futile actions. Give them the bill for the legal costs and they will soon see that giving up their place to let their dogs sh1t on the grass is not worth the cost, and that walking a little further may be a benefit for all, as well as theirt waistlines!!
