QPR eyeing French youngster ahead of possible move

QPR remain interested in Paris St-Germain’s Roli Pereira and are continuing to monitor him ahead of a possible January move.

Rangers attempted to push through deal to sign France Under-19 forward Pereira in the final hours of the recent transfer window but were unable to do so.

Pereira, 19, has yet to make a first-team appearance for PSG but played 14 times for Ligue 2 side Paris FC during a loan spell last season.

He joined FC Tours on a season-long loan after a proposed move to Loftus Road did not go through, but Rangers could still seek a deal to sign him in the new year.

Meanwhile, R’s director of football Les Ferdinand says the club could listen to offers for Michael Doughty and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas in January.
