Robinson hamstring injury does not look serious

A hamstring injury Jack Robinson picked up during QPR’s win against Norwich appears to be only a minor problem.

Robinson, previously sidelined with a long-term knee injury, did not appear for the second half of Saturday’s game at Loftus Road.

There were fears the left-back, signed from Liverpool in 2014, could be facing another spell out of action.

Rangers are now much more optimistic, although they are waiting on the results of a scan to confirm that Robinson can make a swift return.

It is not yet clear whether he will be in contention for this weekend’s match at Ipswich.
