QPR boss Ian Holloway has confirmed to the club’s website that Jack Robinson’s latest injury is not serious.

Robinson, who has battled back from a long-term knee injury, did not appear for the second half of Saturday’s win against Norwich, prompting fears that he could be set for another spell on the sidelines.

But West London Sport revealed this week that Robinson’s hamstring problem appears to be a minor one.

And Holloway confirmed on Friday that the former England Under-21 international is unavailable for Saturday’s trip to Ipswich but should be back in action soon.

In a further boost for Rangers, Jake Bidwell has been passed fit for the Ipswich game and is in Holloway’s squad after two months out with a shoulder injury.

“He (Bidwell) is in my squad for the Ipswich game, which is a boost for us all,” Holloway said.

“Jack is out with a hamstring injury, which is a shame for him. It’s not too serious though.”
