Holloway confirms Bidwell and Robinson news

QPR boss Ian Holloway has confirmed to the club’s website that Jack Robinson’s latest injury is not serious.

Robinson, who has battled back from a long-term knee injury, did not appear for the second half of Saturday’s win against Norwich, prompting fears that he could be set for another spell on the sidelines.[phone][/phone]

But West London Sport revealed this week that Robinson’s hamstring problem appears to be a minor one.

And Holloway confirmed on Friday that the former England Under-21 international is unavailable for Saturday’s trip to Ipswich but should be back in action soon.

In a further boost for Rangers, Jake Bidwell has been passed fit for the Ipswich game and is in Holloway’s squad after two months out with a shoulder injury.

“He (Bidwell) is in my squad for the Ipswich game, which is a boost for us all,” Holloway said.

“Jack is out with a hamstring injury, which is a shame for him. It’s not too serious though.”
