Charlton v QPR player ratings

QPR had to settle for a point despite dominating possession against Charlton. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the goalless draw at The Valley.
Pierce Charles: 7
Again showed his outstanding distribution. Was a spectator for much of the game as Rangers dominated possession, but he calmly dealt with balls into his area when they arrived.
Kealey Adamson: 7
Willing rather than able going forward – Amadou Mbengue’s directness on the flank was missed in an attacking sense. But it was still another credible display from Adamson, who was solid defensively and did well up against the pacy Tyrese Campbell.
Jimmy Dunne: 7
Did well in the first half but went off with an injury three minutes into the second.

Ronnie Edwards: 8
Very good at the back, where he defended well, was always alert to danger and keen to start attacks.
Tariq Lamptey: 6
Was having another very decent outing before going off injured in the first half.
Harvey Vale: 6
Went close with a first-half strike and was heavily involved in parts of the second half. But he faded in and out of the game for much of it – and Rangers’ lack of dynamism out wide was a factor in their inability to convert possession into clear-cut chances.

Nicolas Madsen: 7
His neat passing and clever positioning helped Rangers dominate possession, but they sometimes could have done with Madsen then continuing towards the box.
Glen Kamara: 8
Excellent. So effortless with his precise passing and quick feet on the ball to evade challenges.
Paul Smyth: 5
Unable to apply the finish when through on goal, and in general he simply didn’t do enough of note on the flank.
Alfie Lloyd: 6
Worked hard up and worried Charlton with his pace. Less effective when out on the right-hand side.
Rumarn Burrell: 6
A handful for defenders but was unable to get decisive touches to crosses from Ampadu and Dennis Cirkin.

Dennis Cirkin: 7
Impressive at left-back after replacing Lamptey. Served up a couple of crosses and gave Smyth ample opportunity to make an impact on the overlap.
Jake Clarke-Salter: 6
Steady after coming on for Dunne.

Adamson once again a liability should be no where near the first team
