QPR discuss loan deals but Sandro and Fer look set to stay

QPR have been unable to agree deals to ship out Sandro and Leroy Fer on loan.

Rangers discussed potential last-minute deal with PSV Eindhoven for Fer – the Dutch transfer window closes on Monday night – but the move was a non-starter.

The Netherlands midfielder, 25, has been struggling with a knee complaint and recently saw switch to Sunderland fall through after he underwent a medical.

AC Milan made an approach for Sandro but Rangers could not agree financial terms with the Italian club.

Sandro, 26, last week returned to London from his native Brazil after an issue with his visa was finally resolved.

QPR want to reduce their wage bill and would be open to offers for both players before the domestic transfer window closes on Tuesday.

The club are also desperate to offload Junior Hoilett and Armand Traore, who have both been made available on free transfers.
