QPR defender could face lengthy spell out

Jose Bosingwa could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury during QPR’s defeat against Tottenham.

The former Chelsea defender went off after only three minutes of the game at White Hart Lane, where the home side came from behind to win 2-1.

Hughes has injury concerns.

Rangers boss Mark Hughes confirmed Bosingwa is being sent for a scan to determine the extent of the damage.

“It is likely to be either a grade one or grade two tear and we will know after we get him scanned,” Hughes explained.

“He got the ball early, made a pass and immediately felt something and then had to make a run forward which didn’t help matters.

“We had no choice put to bring him off and we are hoping it is not as bad as we fear it is.”
