QPR confirm signing of striker Polter

QPR have confirmed the signing of striker Sebastian Polter from German club Mainz for an undisclosed fee. 

A former Germany Under-21 international, Polter, 24, has signed a three-year contract at Loftus Road.

Polter was loaned to second-tier outfit Union Berlin last season after falling out of favour at Mainz. He was on Werder Bremen’s books as a youngster and has played for Wolfsburg.
