QPR confirm offers to duo as Gabbidon is axed along with Hall

QPR have confirmed they have offered new contracts to Clint Hill and Akos Buzsaky and are releasing defender Fitz Hall.

Rangers have also announced they have offered a new deal to veteran goalkeeper Radek Cerny, but Danny Gabbidon is not being retained.

Hall is leaving QPR.

Hill and Buzsaky, whose current contracts expire this summer, are considering their futures after manager Mark Hughes told both he was happy for them to remain at Loftus Road.

Buzsaky had hoped for a better offer and has attracted interest from several Championship clubs, as has Hill, who must decide whether to stay put even though he may not be a first-team regular next season.

Back-up keeper Cerny, whose contract is also up, has been given the option to continue at the club, while Hall is leaving after four-and-a-half injury-blighted years with the R’s.

Hall’s ties with the club are being cut now his deal is about to expire, and the same applies to Lee Cook, Dan Shittu, Patrick Agyemang, Rowan Vine, Peter Ramage and Gary Borrowdale.

Cook, who ended the season on loan at Leyton Orient, struggled to overcome a knee condition after being re-signed from Fulham in 2008 but remains a fans’ favourite from his previous spell at Rangers.
