QPR captain backs keeper Green

QPR captain Ji-sung Park says Rob Green has had no problem putting his opening-day error behind him.

The keeper’s mistake on his debut led to the first of Swansea’s goals in their 5-0 hammering of Rangers.

Green looked shaky at times against Norwich on Saturday but pulled off a decent save in the first half and Park believes the England international will eventually produce his best form.

“He forgot things quickly, that’s the good thing,” said the South Korean.

“We’ve only had two games. He has the ability, so we just leave him and give him the confidence. He’s getting better.

“He’s not a young player and has experience. Every player speaks to each other and if we have problems we sort them out.”
