Glen Kamara’s late goal gave QPR victory at Loftus Road against Lincoln. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player.

Pierce Charles: 7

Impressive again. Produced an important save to deny Freddie Draper in the second half.

Kealey Adamson: 7

A tough game for Adamson, who came under pressure as Lincoln targeted him. They had some success doing so, but the Australian battled hard – and produced a vital goal-line clearance just after the visitors had equalised.

Jimmy Dunne: 7

Teamed up with Adamson to prevent Lincoln going ahead, blocking a follow-up after Adamson’s heroics, and in general Dunne was solid and commanding at the back.

Ronnie Edwards: 8

Defended well and was excellent on the ball. But at times it seemed like Rangers would be better off using that ability in midfield, where they struggled at times.

Boy Kemper: 8

Impressive again. Always a strong presence on the left and set up the opening goal with a smart header towards Richard Kone.

Glen Kamara: 8

Scored the winner – his first goal for QPR – after being brilliantly set up by Ilias Chair. Kamara’s overall display was excellent. He was calm on the ball, covered plenty of ground, and his new-found willingness to shoot paid off.

Jonathan Varane: 5

Once again, started with an obvious determination to contribute, but his performance was poor. Bizarrely gave the ball away, resulting in a Lincoln equaliser, and later missed a chance. Poor on the ball and generally ineffective.

Fortunate to keep his place, given his recent form, and would be even more fortunate to keep it again after another totally ineffective performance.

Kwame Poku: 6

Helped set up the opening goal with a quality cross from the right, and there other flashes of quality, but also some moments showing a lack of composure in key areas.

Paul Smyth: 7

Worked hard, as always, and made a nuisance of himself in and around the box.

Richard Kone: 7

A neat header – his fifth goal in four matches – opened the scoring to continue his recent good form in front of goal. His link-up play was also decent.

Ilias Chair: 8

Kamara got the winner, but Chair was the man of the moment. He again made a major impact as a substitute, this time setting Kamara up with a sublime pass. Rangers improved massively after he came on.

Karamoko Dembele: 7

Also made an impact after his introduction, setting up a late chance for Varane.

Dennis Cirkin: 7

Came on for Kemper midway through the second half and was similarly effective at left-back.
