Tozser leaves QPR and returns to Hungary

QPR have announced the departure of Daniel Tozser, who has left the club and returned to his native Hungary to sign for Debrecen.

West London Sport revealed earlier this summer that Tozser, 31, had been left out of Rangers’ squad for their pre-season trip to the Netherlands and was not in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s plans, with both parties keen for him to move on.

Tozser was signed a year ago, swapping Watford – where he enjoyed a promotion-winning season while on loan from Parma – for a troubled QPR side that struggled under the then head coach Chris Ramsey.

He quickly became unhappy at Loftus Road and subsequently fell well out of favour with Hasselbaink, who took over as Rangers manager in December.
