Kwame Poku has returned to the QPR squad for tonight’s game at Birmingham.

The winger, 24, recently resumed training and has travelled with the squad to the West Midlands.

Having been signed from Peterborough during the summer, Poku suffered a hamstring injury on his debut and was out for almost three months.

He suffered another hamstring injury in early January and has now spent another two months on the sidelines.

Head coach Julien Stephan recently suggested that Rangers would need to be patient with Poku when he returns.

He said: “Of course it (Poku’s return) is good news. But we don’t consider that only one player can change everything.

“It’s an option. One more player. But I repeat, there’s a difference between coming back and being competitive.”

Rangers will be looking to end a terrible run, having lost three consecutive matches, having failed to score in those games and conceded a total of 11 goals.

Stephan is considering deploying Ronnie Edwards in midfield.
