QPR’s Odubjao to miss next couple of matches

QPR: Moses Odubajo

Moses Odubajo will remain sidelined for QPR’s next couple of matches.

Manager Mark Warburton says Odubajo is still “probably 10 to 12 days away” from being fit to return to action.

It means the 28-year-old will be unavailable for Rangers’ away games against Bristol City and Birmingham.

Odubajo’s last appearance came in the 2-1 win at Derby on 29 November.

Meanwhile, QPR have been assessing Ilias Chair, who was substituted at half-time during the 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth.

“We’ll see how Ilias is in the morning,” Warburton said after the game.

“He got a kick early in the game, had treatment and thought he was OK. But we’ve just got to see.”

Warburton added that he waited until 20 minutes from time to send on Albert Adomah because he wanted to “ease him in” following his injury lay-off in order for him to be available for the Bristol City game on Thursday.
