QPR complete signing of Obikwu from Coventry

QPR have completed the signing of striker Justin Obikwu from Coventry City.

The 21-year-old from Brent is returning to London for an initial fee of £500,000.

Obikwu, a Trinidad & Tobago international, played for Hillingdon-based non-League club Harefield United before being signed by Coventry.

He has not made a first-team experience for the Sky Blues, who recalled him from a season-long loan at Lincoln City in order to sell him.

Meanwhile, QPR have loaned Alfie Lloyd to Lincoln for the rest of the season after recalling him from a loan at Leyton Orient.

Obikwu made 17 League One appearances for Lincoln, 13 of them as a substitute, and scored three goals. He was previously on loan at Grimsby Town.

His move to QPR was not finalised in time for him to be available for Tuesday’s game against Oxford United.
