Sylla okay after knock to head – Holloway

Ian Holloway says there is no cause for concern over the head injury Idrissa Sylla suffered during QPR’s 2-1 win against Ipswich.

Sylla went off minutes after scoring the opening goal at Loftus Road – his second goal in as many games and his sixth of the season.

R’s boss Holloway said: “He took a hell of a whack. When he came round I said ‘welcome to England’.

“He was actually unconscious but he’s okay. He’s smiling because he scored again.

“We were worried about him because we thought it was full-on concussion, but I don’t know think so.”
