QPR hoping Washington will be passed fit

Grant Hall is a major doubt for QPR’s game at Preston but Conor Washington appears to have a good chance of being passed fit.

Both players picked up injuries during the win against Wigan on Tuesday, when striker Washington scored his fourth goal in six matches.

Hall went off just before the half-hour mark with a shin injury and has not been able to train fully ahead of the trip to Deepdale.

Washington, meanwhile, went off midway through the second half at Loftus Road because of a calf problem but has responded well to treatment.

Jordan Cousins remains sidelined with a thigh injury.
