Stephane Mbia says Harry Redknapp can count on him in QPR’s fight against relegation.
Redknapp fined Jose Bosingwa and publicly lambasted the Portuguese defender for refusing to be a substitute for the recent derby against Fulham.
The Rangers boss subsequently remarked that he “needs people who’ll help, not act like that” during the club’s battle to stay up and that he was “disturbed” by Bosingwa’s attitude.
“The most important thing is to follow what the gaffer says. That is the only way we can move forward as a team,” Mbia declared.
“If he tells me to play somewhere I make sure I play there. If the manager tells me to sit on the bench I will do it.
“The only way to show him you should not sit on the bench is by performing well on the training pitch.
“It’s up to the manager to make the decisions. If he wants you to sit on the bench, you sit on the bench.”
