Troubled QPR assess Hill injury

QPR fear Clint Hill is facing a spell on the sidelines after he picked up an injury during their defeat against Brentford.

The veteran defender, who recently turned 37, limped off 14 minutes from the end of Friday’s match at Griffin Park with what looked like a knee problem.

Hill will be assessed over the next 24 hours and head coach Chris Ramsey has admitted there is cause for concern.

Ramsey said: “Clint’s had a bit of a knock and a pull. I haven’t had an assessment on it yet.

“He’s a warrior and we’re hoping that he’ll be fit very soon. We’re not sure of the extent of his injury, but it didn’t look very good.”

Rangers are next in action on Tuesday, when they travel to Derby.
