Holloway defiant after Bees thrash QPR
Ian Holloway says Brentford fans can expect their team to face a very different QPR in the league this season.
The Rangers boss was responding to his side’s 4-1 thrashing by the Bees at Loftus Road in the EFL Cup, which the visiting supporters savoured.
Holloway, who made 10 changes for the game, said: “They were gloating. I don’t care, they can do what they like.
“I don’t really give a monkey’s who we’ve just played and who we’ve just lost to in the cup. Let’s take them on in the league and we’ll see how we get on.
“I don’t want to lose to them, but I’d love to play them every week with my proper team and we’ll see.
“I can’t wait. It’s just spiced up the away game and the home game for me – just spiced it right up.”
The two west London neighbours will next meet in the Championship at Loftus Road on 25 November.
Brentford, who also made significant changes for Tuesday’s tie, are at home to Wolves in the league on Saturday, while QPR travel to face leaders Cardiff.

I travelled up from Bournemouth area got home at past midnight.
Last season the games I could make the performance was dire and last nights first half was a complete shambles.
Ollie wanted to try out his fringe players not sure playing them all together is going to show much apart from they are fringe players in a well below par team with little chance against any Championship team.
The boss was there I sat next to the directors box, what must he be thinking?
Ship out all the fringe players and bring in two or three new ones.
Clair and Freeman were good and I accept others are getting match practice.
Remember the faithful Ollie who travel 4 hours plus round trip, QPR need to put on a show, your in the entertainment business after all.

We would love to play them every week as well Ian.
“With my proper team”? What a lovely way to motivate a squad.
