Hogan and Bancessi play in Under-21 game

Scott Hogan continued his comeback by playing 75 minutes for Brentford’s development side in a match against QPR , whose line-up included trialist Eusébio Bancessi.

Wolves winger Bancessi, 20, is looking for club after being told he will not be offered a new contract at Molineux.

He played just over an hour of the game at Brentford’s Jersey Road training ground, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

Bancessi was on Benfica’s books before joining Wolves in 2013. He has not made a first-team appearance for the Midlands club and has had loan spells at Cheltenham and, more recently, Telford United.

Bees striker Hogan, meanwhile, is working his back to fitness after being sidelined since August 2014 with back-to-back long-term knee injuries.
