Can QPR players adapt to Ainsworth’s style of play?

Kevin Gallen and Ian McCullough are joined by journalist John Crowley on the West London Sport QPR podcast.

They discuss the comeback at West Brom and whether it might be a turning point, and Rangers’ prospects in Saturday’s vital game against Coventry.

They also discuss boss Gareth Ainsworth’s style of play and whether it is suited to the likes of Chris Willock, Ilias Chair and Stefan Johansen.

Former R’s forward Gallen has some concerns about the midfield, where Johansen struggled badly in the recent home defeat by Preston.

Gallen said: “I felt a little bit sorry for him against Preston. His legs have gone a little bit, but he was playing in a two against a three.

“I’ve played in midfield and when there’s an extra man, and you haven’t got that energy and legs, it’s a hard graft.”
