Millwall manager Neil Harris praised QPR after his side’s derby victory.

Steve Morison’s second-half header gave the Lions a 1-0 triumph at The Den, where Rangers manager Ian Holloway was given a predictably hostile reception on his return.

Harris, who took over as Lions boss from Holloway, felt both teams deserved credit.

He said: “There was added spice with Ollie returning and there was a great atmosphere. QPR contributed on the pitch and off it with their fans.

“Credit to QPR – not many teams come here and knock us out of our stride. But my boys can find a way to win, especially at The Den.

“We didn’t have that quality in the final third and that’s something we can work on.”
