QPR’s Hall set for return to action

Grant Hall was a key player for QPR before his injury

Grant Hall is being lined up for a return to action next week.

The QPR defender missed most of last season because of a knee problem and had surgery in February.

He has since returned to training but has not featured in any of Rangers’ pre-season matches.

However, Hall has been given the all-clear by a specialist to play and been pencilled in for an appearance in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Swindon Town on Tuesday.

Hall, 26, is expected to play 45 minutes of the game.

But Sean Goss is still struggling with a back problem.

The midfielder was expected to return to training but has not been able to do so and Rangers are unsure how long he is likely to be sidelined for.
