Goss returns to action in QPR Under-23 game

Sean Goss, QPR

Sean Goss returned to action as QPR’s development side came back from two down to beat Burnley 3-2 on Monday afternoon.

Goss, who has been out with a back problem, featured in the game at Loftus Road along with Sebastien Bassong and trialist Nathan Oduwa.

Deshane Dalling pulled a goal back with a superb strike midway through the second half and Aramide Oteh, who has been offered a new three-year contract, headed in an equaliser.

And Amrit Bansal-McNulty blasted home eight minutes from the end to give Rangers the win.

Bassong has been training with QPR while looking for a new club and this was his third outing for their Under-23 side.

Oduwa, a 22-year-old winger who was with Tottenham as a teenager, recently joined the R’s on trial and is hoping to earn a contract.

Oduwa left Spurs in 2017 and earlier this summer left Olimpija Ljubljana after a year with the Slovenian club. He previously had spells on loan at Glasgow Rangers, Luton, Peterborough and Colchester.
