Glovers boss confirms interest in QPR’s Goss

Sean Goss, QPR

Yeovil manager Darren Way has confirmed his interest in Sean Goss, Somerset Live reports.

West London Sport recently revealed that QPR had made Goss, 21, available for a loan move, that Yeovil were interested and also revealed that he was reluctant to join the Glovers.

“We have made the phone call, definitely,” said Way.

“He’s someone that’s played in the Championship and someone that I would love to have in my team.

“When you’re off the back of a £100,000 move to Manchester United, and then a £500,000 move to QPR, I’ll let you work the maths out on what his wages are.”

Charlton have also shown some interest but, as things stood on Thursday morning, there was no move in the offing.

Goss has started three games since being signed from Manchester United in January and has not featured for Rangers so far this season.

He had not made a senior appearance prior to his move to Loftus Road and QPR believe he might benefit from the chance to play first-team football elsewhere.
