Cameron returns to full training after injury

Geoff Cameron has returned to full training following his ankle injury.

The American, on loan at QPR from Stoke City, has been out of action since suffering ligament damage against Leeds in December.

Cameron trained with the rest of the first-team squad on Thursday but Angel Rangel is not expected to resume full training for another week or two.

Rangel suffered a thigh injury, also in the defeat at Leeds, and has taken longer to recover than initially expected.

QPR hoped both men would return to action in February along with Tomer Hemed, who is playing again following a hernia operation.

  • Best news for weeks.
Next season, hopefully we will find younger replacements less likely to get injured. However, both get fit & we start to fly again.

  • its the downside of getting older players, they take months to recover from the slightest knocks, trouble is that's the price we have to pay for experience.
