Under-18s boss Steve Gallen has been placed in charge of QPR’s development squad on an interim basis following Marc Bircham’s departure.
Gallen will take the team to Ipswich for a game on Monday, with the club considering their longer-term options after Bircham left to join Ian Holloway at Millwall as first-team coach.
A number of people have expressed an interest in the role at Loftus Road, including former Rangers defender David Bardsley.
